This morning 5 kids from a school called Mata came to our school.
Their names are Ashleigh,Kate,Turoa,Kaycee and Paige.
We done some athletics training.

This is a picture of our school staffroom during a flood. I am going to tell you about the massive flood that happened at our school in July 2008.
It all started with a gust of wind then a drip of rain then BANG!!!!
The water would not stop the wind kept going like a tornado all of that Tuesday night. On Wednesday I woke up to a disaster.
My mother, my sister and I drove around our area. Our school was ruined. But after a while everything cleared up and everyone and everything was sweet.

Yesterday was a fun day for our school because we went to the tairawhiti museum.
It was so compelling.
We met koka Jenny and koka Gale. They introduced us to a man named Nick. He dose Tamoko.
He gave us permission to watch him do a tamoko on a man named Shannon.
Koka Gale introduced some old gardenning tools that maori used.
There was the ko,the tika,the Wauwau and the timo.

Yesterday I went to a tangi out of Gisborne.
I meet 4 auntys on Lens side.
We had alot of cousins.
There names are Tamati,Eruera,Manawa,Tahua and pepe.
Haami was being a egg and eating like a pig.

In the second term the school did a trip up a mountain it was steep.It took 15 mins to get up it.
We are learning what the male and female names of animals are. A male goose is called a gander. I went to Australia last month. We have 47-48 kids in our school.

Yesterday I walked to Jakes house. It was fun because we played ratatoulle the playstation game. Then we had to go home koka Jodie was going to take us home but mum came.

Hi my name is Sidney and I am 8. I am in room six my teacher is called Koka Vickie. On your school wikispaces I liked your videos and I liked your voki. I have 2 uncles 1 nan 1 mum 1 papa 1 cousin all living at my house so thats a total of 6 . My nan is the principle of my school and her name is Vickie as well. We are six Y4-5 students at Hatea-a-Rangi School. We are situated on the East Coast of the North Island. We are a coastal area so the beach is our front yard.The closest city is Gisborne which takes an hour and a half to travel to in a car. We are excited about getting to know students at St Clair school in Dunedin. We have looked at our map and Dunedin seems a long way away.......
